Hall in Iota was packed with Mardi Gras participants, people
from Iota, and visitors from far away for the LeJeune Cove
Mardi Gras Dance. The Mardi Gras invaded the dance hall
early in the evening before these photos were taken and then
came back later for a second run through the hall, depicted
in some of the photos below. Capitaine Chris LeJeune is
shown at left leading the annual auction and making
presentations. The band shown below included Lyle
Guidry on accordion, Brandon Moreau on fiddle, and Blake
Miller on acoustic guitar.
